  • The TAMUZ headquarter offices and manufacturing has moved to new facility for January 1st, 2010. Just a block from the former location the new industrial building enlarges manufacturing and storage capacities, as well as office space. Please note the new address Kirchweg 62 - Unit B, 24558 Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany. All communication contacts are keeps the same.

  • TAMUZ is pleased to announce the re-organisation of its distribution channel for the North American market. From August 1st 2009, TAMUZ Broadcast Trading, Inc., will coordinate all sales and marketing efforts for the Unites States, Mexico and Canada from its new warehouse and Sales Office in Short Hills, New Jersey itself. The former master distributor TAMUZ USA LLC is not authorized anymor to deal with TAMUZ products. press release

  • Remake of the HAWK portable monitors. TAMUZ presents at NAB'09 the world first battery powered ruggedized portable monitor, the OCM 107W HD from the successful HAWK series.   • August 2008, TAMUZ establish its own North American branch, TAMUZ Broadcast Trading, Inc. of Helena, MT. The TAMUZ Broadcast Trading administration will superwise the sales and marketing for the Unites States, Mexico and Canada, served by the master distributor and dealer network.

  • New USA distributor. Taking effect from July 1st 2008, the company TAMUZ-USA LLC will operate as the master distributor. All products are still available and can be ordered through the new web site www.tamuz-usa.com. The company TAMUZ Broadcast, Inc. and their CEO Mr. Ray Kalo are no longer the US representative, distributor and reseller for TAMUZ Broadcast Monitors and other broadcast gear.
    The Company owner, Mr. Erwin W. Lissy, and the Management at the German Headquarter decide to cancel the business relationship with Ray Kalo, who now operates as Plura Broadcast, Inc., reselleing compeditive products.

  • Dispute between TAMUZ and the former USA distributor. Mr. Ray Kalo and companies controlled by him breached an agreement with TAMUZ and announce a product named MVM-124 Multiview monitor, which is an unlawful copy of the TAMUZ QLM 124W Hybrid MultiView monitor.
    Mr. Kalo is using proprietary information he obtained while under contract with PTV.
    Kalo and his companies still improperly use the domains tamuz.us and tamuzbroadcast.com and have linked these domains to their new domain plurabroadcast.com, and the toll-free phone number (888 - TAMUZUS).

  • MONITOR WORKSHOP 2008. On July 23rd / 24th TAMUZ held a training course for broadcasters and other associated people. The first days offers presentation by several companies from the LCD industry. The second day offers hands-on and practical sessions with monitors and their alignment.   • BLACK MILAN series QCM 124W. Presenting a prototype at last years exhibition IBC'07 in Amsterdam, now TAMUZ is pleased to announce the new BLACK MILAN series QCM 124W
    This series offers a broadcast quality monitor in the size of 19"W, 24"W or 47"W with a built-in Quad Processor accepting up to four analog or digital video signals. The inputs are auto detection composite, SD or HD-SDI in any format. The small QCM 119W is small enough to fit in a 19" rack at 8 RU.

  • IMPERIAL EAGLE series RLM 124W HD. At the international exhibition IBC 2007 in Amsterdam TAMUZ presents a prototype of his reference monitor development RLM 124W HD. See technical white paper for this development. First sales will be delivered since early 2008.
    First official launch of the RLM 124W HD happens during the PTV ROADSHOW '08 in Germany end of February. See some

  • Über sechs Stationen in 14 Tagen rollte die ROADSHOW 2008 durch die deutschen Lande. Zusammen mit den Firmen Alpermann+Velte und RTW veranstaltete PTV Professional TeleVision in Leipzig (25. Februar, Novotel Leipzig City), München-Unterföhring (27. Februar, Comfort Hotel Unterföhring), Mainz (29. Februar, Park Inn Hotel Mainz), Köln (3. März, Novotel Köln City), Potsdam (05. März, Mercure Hotel Potsdam) und Hamburg (7. März, Park In Hotel Hamburg) jeweils von 11:00 bis 21:30 Uhr eine Produkt-Presentation mit begleitenden Vortragsprogramm. Unterstützt wurde die Veranstaltungsreihe von Referenten aus den Häusern Doremi Labs, SAV und Tcube. Die Auswahl der Produkt Highlights der Hersteller von A bis Z (AJA Video, Alpermann+Velte, Convergent Design, eyevis, PureLink, RedByte, RTW SAV, TAMUZ, Tcube, VIDRE) ist recht umfangreich und hat auch die eine oder andere Überraschung bereit gehalten.   • IBC 2006 in Amsterdam. At the international exhibition IBC 2006 in Amsterdam TAMUZ presents additional models in the "SPARROWHAWK" and "GREY OWL" series, plus the space saving RD-1 digital receiver.
    Smallest FullHD Monitor, the HCM 115W HD.
    Native HD BigScreen, the SPARROWHAWK series.
    Largest 19" rack mountable Monitor, the FLM 119W HD.

  • HDTV Monitoring at ANGA 05 in Köln. At the ANGA05 T-systems booth TAMUZ presents the new 47" HDTV monitor HCM 147W HD. The monitor was feed by the fiber link from the Scientific Atlanta micronode. This simulates the transmission technology for the FIFA world championship 2006. Mehr dazu in der Pressemeldung.

  • NAB 2005 in Las Vegas. During NAB 2005 TAMUZ presents several products from his production line at the US dealer booth (GENCOM) SU 11.801. GENCOM starts to introduce the TAMUZ products to the US market as the general distributor and importer:
    The eye-catcher will be the BCM series, compact Digital Broadcast Monitors with AAC (auto Alignment and Calibration) and best viewing performance at all.
    23" HDTV Monitor HCM123W HD with duallink input for displaying 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 video
    Quad Split Units for SDI; the QV4VGA - Quad Split Unit with four SDI inputs and VGA like output signal and the QV4SDI - Quad Split Unit with four SDI inputs and SDI output signal. Most of this products are launched at last year IBC and sold well in the last month. At NAB 2005 competitors announcing MegaPixel as a hip technology, but that's is nothing else like a calculation trick. TAMUZ uses TFT panels with high numbers of pixel (resolution) since the introduction of the unique HAWK series in 2002 and TAMUZ was the first LCD monitor maker introducing pure digital signal processing in 2001.
    The fact is, that the industry is coming closer to the quality and performance TAMUZ offers since years.
